I think the objective of life is to enjoy as much of it as you can, and also to achieve as much as you can – and clearly these two are interlinked. If you live only for enjoyment and you don’t put any effort into achievement then you’ll be unhappy later, and similarly if you’re obsessed with achieving in the future to the point where you don’t have any fun right now then that’s likely to be a strategy that you can’t sustain and which you regret later when the achievement doesn’t totally pan out.
And it seems like a good plan to enjoy and achieve both at home and at work – and not just enjoy home and achieve at work, but enjoy work too, and achieve outside work too.
These are the main areas of your goals.
You could also divide them into Have Do and Be. Many people think if they won the lottery of all the things they’d have, but really (lottery aside and let’s face it that’s not going to happen for 99.99% of us) you can’t Have until you can Do, and you can’t Do until you Are….. Deep!
So in the attached template I’ve listed work and personal for have do and be, enjoy and achieve, divided into short and long term.
If you fill in this form then your subconscious will have something to get it’s teeth into, and it will work on it without you even noticing. Without a form like this you will drift through life and possibly not be happy with where you randomly end up. So print off this form and fill it out – it just might change your life!

Onwards and upwards!
Dear Chris,
I am grateful that I have the opportunities granted to attend your virtual training via LinkedIn, and to receive access to read your articles, which help us improve quality of our life further, both professionally and personally. After all, life is too short not to maximize its potential given to all of us, and I am a firm believer that it’s up to each of us as to how much of our “best” to give to each day.
My goal is to give all my best every day to contribute to the betterment of our lives and the world we live in in the way each of us can.
I wish you and your family a safe, healthy and fruitful new year, 2021!
